Root Post Repair System
Fractured post – what to do next

Up to now, the removal of the fragment used to be very difficult and time-consuming and at times even impossible. There is now an option for fragments with a diameter of up to 1.7 mm: simply place a hollow post over the fragment. To do this, first drill around the fragment with a trepan bur. The second step is to cement a hollow post over the fragment. The root can now be reconstructed in complete safety. It might even be possible to integrate the existing prosthetic restoration. The hollow posts are part of the Komet >RepairPost System as suggestet by Dr. Brandau.
